When art meets photography and they are combined together to bring two passions together, well that equals Bremner. She started on a journey to explore natural springs in the Southwest after taking a springs inventory field trip with the Springs Stewardship Institute. Being an environmentalist and fine art photographer, she wanted to explore springs which hold clues about the health and longevity of earth’s fresh water supply. She was hooked, and then came her love of maps. She found the actual maps of the area dating back several years. This resulted in a series of images showing both the beauty and destruction of the area. Of the series she has been working on, this is one of my favorite images.
